Women Founders Project by Front Row Ventures

  • Eligible: Women Founders based in Montreal, currently studying or recent grad (in the past 12 months).
  • To be won: Be part of FRV’s first Women Founders Project in May 2019, along with 7-9 other women founders. Gain access to awesome resources like mentorship, tips, workshops, to develop your business.
  • Deadline: Ongoing

Get Support to Attend Viva Technology With the Montreal Delegation, in Paris (May 15-18)

  • Eligible: Tech entrepreneurs based in Montreal, with sales in the last year, and a team working full time.
  • To be won: A support in your participation in the Gouvernement du Québec’s mission to Viva Technology, in Paris on May 15-18, including a $300 grant, support from the Ville de Montréal and a kiosk during the event (limited space).
  • Deadline: April 18

LOJIQ Grant to Travel to Viva Technology, in Paris (May 15-18)

  • Eligible: An entrepreneur with a tech business and an interest in exporting its services/products to the European market, with a focus on France.
  • To be won: A $1,250 grant to cover transportation & travel insurance.

Be Part of the Montreal Delegation at Collision, in Toronto (May 21-24)

  • Eligible: All startups and entrepreneurial support organizations based in Montreal.
  • To be won: Tickets to the 3 days of Collision 2019 and be part of the Montreal delegation, including official meetings with key players in Toronto, transportation and other major activities exclusive to the Montreal startup community. Various packages available.
  • Deadline: April 19

Inclusion Initiative to Attend Startupfest 2019 (July 9-12)

  • Eligible: Canadian women entrepreneurs.
  • To be won: A $50 ticket to Startupfest 2019 ($500 value), including access to the event, an opportunity to win up to $200,000 in grants during the pitch contest, and other key activities during the festival.

  • Eligible: Women entrepreneur or wanting to start a business.
  • To be won: Be part of the BOOSTcamp, happening on May 17. This will be a day of group activities in an informal and non-conformist environment allowing you to better understand your strengths, assess your opportunity, identify your ambitions, identify your allies and determine your next steps, surrounded by women entrepreneurs !

Zú’s Incubation Program (June to August)

  • Eligible: Tech entrepreneurs active in one of the creative industries targeted by the program (see website for complete list).
  • To be won: Be part of Zú’s incubation program, including support by experts, 12 weeks of trainings, workshops and events, and a $5,000 grant.

French IoT – Groupe La Poste challenge – 5th edition

  • Eligible: Innovative start-ups in connected services, whether they are French or from foreign countries with France as a target. Must be active in any of those 5 fields : Smart City & Mobility, Health, Services, Deep Tech, Gov Tech/Civic Tech.
  • To be won: Fifteen start-ups will be selected and have access to the French IoT business acceleration program. They will obtain a complete and tailor-made support to boost their development, with a pilot project with one of their co-sponsor partners. In addition, winners will have access to a major Innovation event in Europe.

  • Eligible: Entrepreneurs wanting to access the international market.

  • Eligible: Innovative startups in the following fields : consumer goods, customer experience, or packaging.

MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge

  • Eligible: Startups and entrepreneurial organizations of any age, size, or type (for-profit or non-profit), located anywhere in the world that are creating economic opportunity for moderate and low income earners.
  • To be won: Pitch in Toronto with the goal to be part of the finalists and receive a $20,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to MIT, where you could win the $250,000 Global Grand Prize.

  • To be won: Be part of the 2019/20 CDL program, a seed-stage program for massively scalable, science-based companies, with the goal of maximizing equity-value creation. It will support you with mentoring, business development and if you want to raise capital.
