MONTRÉAL, February 2, 2021 – Les Mercredis Startup resumes for a new 2021 edition, in collaboration with Cisco, while we greet our two new co-hosts this year:

  • Kyle Boulay, former co-founder of Bus.com and entrepreneur in residence of Bonjour Startup Montréal
  • Amira Boutouchent, co-founder of Bridgr

This year, the formula is as follows: our co-hosts will discuss with two guests for each edition on local and international perspectives of a theme from our zeitgeist.

Our first edition will be live on Wednesday February 3 from 12:15 until 1:00 p.m. The subject is remote work, its challenges and opportunities, with two entrepreneurs that are bringing innovative solutions in this field: Ashley Werhun, CEO and co-founder of Mentorly.co, u virtual mentoring platform, and Nogol Madani , CEO and founder of Glee Factor, a company specializing in corporate culture. Another new feature this year, our podcasts will be available for on most podcasting platforms such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

In 2020, we had 21 editions of Les Mercredis Startup all hosted by Patrick Gagné. A total of 48 guests representing several stakeholders in the Montreal startup ecosystem were present, including Judith Fetzer from Cook it and Richard Chénier from Centech, but also elected officials such as Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante and Outremont MP Rachel Bendayan. You can watch episodes from the 2020 again on Youtube.
