Through this WaiTALK «Ethics of AI: Designing for Well-Being» Women in AI Mexico invites you to be part of this conference in which we will analyze the main points of this interesting topic from the hand of experts.

For this talk, our speaker will be:

• Dr. Maria del Pilar Gomez, is a researcher in Computer Science at the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics, as well as a national level 1 researcher of the SNI and has around 30 years of experience in Research and development in Artificial Neural Networks and other computational intelligence models.

She has worked in different educational institutions and industry in Mexico and published around 90 articles in magazines and conferences, both national and international.

Dr. Gómez Gil is a regular member and currently secretary of the Mexican Academy ofComputing. Likewise, she is a senior member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers and Electronics), founding member of the Mexico chapter of the intelligence society of the IEEE, founding member of the Puebla chapter of the society of Instrumentation and Measurement of the IEEE and member of the ACM (Association of Machines computer).

La Dra. Ha trabajado en diferentes instituciones educativas e industria en México y ha publicado alrededor de 90 artículos en revistas y congresos, tanto nacionales como internacionales.

El Dr. Gómez Gil es miembro titular y actual secretaria de la Academia Mexicana de Computación. Asimismo, es miembro senior del IEEE (acrónimo de Institute of Electrical Engineers and Electronics), miembro fundador del capítulo México de la sociedad de inteligencia del IEEE, miembro fundador del capítulo Puebla de la sociedad de Instrumentación y Medida del IEEE y miembro de la ACM (acrónimo de Association for Computing Machinery ).
