Lab2Market Validation takes participants through the process of unlocking the business potential of a research idea – from talking to customers, building a network, and most importantly, developing entrepreneurial grit.
This 16-week program (online and in person) is offered in French for graduate students and postdocs based out of Quebec universities.
-Open to graduate students and postdocs, or postdocs having graduated within the last 5 years, ready to dedicate 35 hours per week over the course of the 16 weeks and represent their team during sessions.
-Candidates must apply in teams, which must include: a graduate student or postdoc or postdoc having graduate within the last 5 years PLUS a research or academic supervisor.
-Teams must be based out of a Quebec university.
-15,000$ in funding via the Mitacs Business Strategy Internship (BSI)
-Validate your idea’s commercial viability
-Conduct market research for your project
-Apply as a team: graduate student/postdoc + research or academic supervisor
