What do you mean by “innovative project”?
Your project must stand out by its originality while meeting a real market need. An innovation is the implementation of a new or significantly improved product (good or service) or process. It is not specific to the product, it can reside in a new marketing method, a new organizational method in the company’s practices, in the organization of the workplace, external relations or other aspects of the business model.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts: firstname.lastname@example.org.

A project that has been rejected in the past by Startup Montreal could be re-applied for if the project demonstrates a significant change and/or advancement in the business model, or if the application is for a new project. Of course, the team of founders and the project must meet the competition criteria.

As a solo entrepreneur, Startup Montréal has been instrumental in the advancement of my business. They have helped me with sales, finance, marketing and operations. They helped me to see clearly and to organize myself in the very difficult times of the beginning. The coaching I received and the quality help I received was very beneficial and I wouldn't be where I am today without them.Élise Tastet - Tastet - 2017 Cohort
I pitched for the Fellowship on June 6, 2018, opened my first store on June 9, 2018. Startup Montréal contributed to the success of my business from Day 1. My mentor was by my side at every pivot, every step. I received sound advice, but most of all I was given an unparalleled listening ear, which contributed to the reflection and improvement of my business planAnnette Nguyen - Shwap Club - 2019 Cohort
