Win your place at SXSW!

Interested in checking out the most important innovation and new technologies event? To celebrate its launch, Bonjour Startup Montréal is offering a Montreal startup the opportunity to attend SXSW with the Export Québec delegation at Canada House.

To enter the contest, fill out Bonjour Startup Montréal’s online survey and tell us a bit about your startup.

• One pass for one person for SXSW’s interactive component (a $1,350 value)
• Prep meeting with the organizers and participants before the mission
• Four nights double occupancy accommodation in Austin, Texas
• Round-trip plane ticket to Austin, Texas, with the Export Quebec delegation
• Registration as an official member of the Quebec delegation @ SXSW 2019, including a mention:
  • In Quebec’s official communications @ SXSW
  • On social media and in the official SXSW program
• Access to Espace Québec as a visitor and participation in Canada House activities from March 9 to 13, 2019, including networking activities.

Over a few days, you’ll have the chance to meet hundreds of visionary entrepreneurs.

SXSW is:

• Five festivals in one (interactive, music, cinema, comedy and video games)
• 432,500 participants
• 102 countries
• 4,035 media outlets
• The interactive component of the festival offers 75,000 participants no less than 1,084 activities. (WOW!)
• Quebec delegation’s goals at SXSW 2019 are to foster business development and promote Quebec’s technology and creative industries abroad by focusing on these three priorities:
  • Increasing visibility
  • Strengthening the influence of Quebec’s technological and creative industries abroad
  • Providing access to an innovative framework

ELIGIBILITY

• Your startup must be a company legally incorporated in Quebec or Canada with a head office in Montreal.
• You must be a startup founder or executive (a startup is a company founded less than ten years ago whose digital technology and innovation lie at the heart of its business model and which has high growth potential.)
• Registration deadline: February 5, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. EST.

ENGAGEMENT

The selected startup undertakes to represent Bonjour Startup Montréal during certain SXSW activities, including wearing the official Bonjour Startup Montréal t-shirt. The representative also undertakes to promote their experience on social media by mentioning Bonjour Startup Montréal and telling us about their experience in a blog article.

The winner undertakes to cooperate and establish links with other members of the delegation as well as international startups.

The company registered for the mission undertakes to complete a result-monitoring form (sales, recruited partners, technology transfers, industrial agreements, settlements in foreign locations) that will be used to write the internal Export Québec report and evaluate and improve its services.
