Danielle Cass – is a serial networker who has built communities across Silicon Valley, the tech industry and the Global South. She is Activation Lead on the Microsoft Ethics & Society team where she helps drive Responsible Innovation across the Cloud + Artificial Intelligence engineering organization. She co-founded an AI ethics / responsible tech community of enterprise and consumer tech companies, civil society and academia to share resources for ethics training and implementation She is a member of the World Economic Forum Steering Committee for the Ethical Design and Deployment of Technology Project, and was named on the «100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics» 2020 list by Lighthouse3. Based on her community-building in Silicon Valley, she was recruited by the Obama Administration to drive tech sector engagement for the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she was a lead organizer of President Obama’s 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford University.

Polina Zvyagina – has been in tech for most of her legal and privacy career. She was an investigator of police misconduct at the Civilian Complaint Review Board where she fell in love with privacy and civil rights law. Since then, after earning her JD she has served as Legal Counsel and Apple, Uber and Airbnb where she worked on government access to data, product privacy and data ethics. At Meta she has joined the ranks of the Policy org. where she is able to proactively work on issues of Responsible AI. Polina’s focus areas are AI Accountability and Governance, Privacy and Transparency & Explainability. She also doubles as a mom for two rambunctious little dudes who keep her firmly planted in the present with an eye toward building a tech future that’s kind, gentle and helpful to vulnerable communities.
